Happy New Year to you all!

Firstly a very Happy New Year to you all, and secondly you should know that the band feels for all those affected by the sad tragedies all around Australia , especially to our fellow bands people in Queensland.

On that note we are currently planning several fund raising events for February and March and even beyond, both with Gold Coast talent, and the talents of fellow musicians around the state.
Keep tuned in for the dates of these spectacular events. We would love to invite all players of brass instruments to join with us during this exciting new year.

Our website is now up and running with all the cobwebs swept aside.....we hope!

Our wonderful Drum Corps have already begun the new year with a super practice session where lots of information and laughs were exchanged

The band is rehearsing for next weeks January 26 Australia Day performance at the Gold Coast City Council Chambers at Evandale 9am to 10am(ish). Come on down !We'll be out the front and keen to begin the day's activities. We follow that with a rehearsal at the Peter Panitz Bandshell in Southport, that's for the following evening's performance at Steven Ciobo's Moncrieff Awards Ceremony, and we will end our day with a lovely Aussie BBQ at the bandshell to celebrate our national day and the bands' hard work.

We hope to see you all there safe and happy, come in and join the fun and let playing good brass music be a part of your life.

Until next time

Kim Rudig
Secretary GCCBB
